Orienteering Championships 2023
Sunday 19 November 2023 at Watchwood and
Calverton
The 2023 PSUK Orienteering
Championships will be held on Sunday 19 November 2023 at Watchwood and
Calverton, near Calverton, north of Nottingham in conjunction with a club event
organised by the Nottinghamshire Orienteering Club. The competition area is established
Forestry Commission woodland and reclaimed colliery land, last used for
orienteering in 1995.

If you are not a British
Orienteering member, please enter PSUK in
the club box. When selecting a start time
please select one before 12 noon so the prize giving can take place at 1.30pm. You enter the colour course appropriate to
your 'Class' as above, or you can ‘run up’ a class, example : Veteran Man up to
Men’s Open.

Team Competitions
Men’s Open class : 3 to score, based on
finishing position compared with other PSUK entrants.
Women’s Open classes : 3 to score, based on
finishing position compared with other PSUK entrants.
Mixed Team: 3 to score from courses A to F compared
with other PSUK entrants excluding those scoring for the Men’s or Women’s Open
Team competitions.
Individual Awards/Prizes : These will depend on the number of
entries on each course A-F, but for each
course the winner as a minimum. Introductory course (G) : First Man, first Women and first pair.
Team Prizes: For each member of the winning team.
PSUK v RAF
The event will also include our annual challenge match against the RAF.
