The 2016 PSUK Orienteering Championships will be held at Longshaw,
Derbyshire on Sunday 6 March 2016, within an event organised by the Derwent
Valley Orienteering Club. www.derwentvalleyorienteers.org.uk
Longshaw is a large National Trust Estate in North Derbyshire,
a mixture of woodland and moorland. A map of the area can be viewed here: www.derwentvalleyorienteers.org.uk/results/rg2/#77
There will be beginners’ courses if other family members
want to also take part as well as the more technical courses. These can be entered on the day.
There will not be a presentation meal, but we will all meet
for a picnic afterwards to encourage families to come along and meet with
fellow Police orienteers. There will probably be a caterer at the event selling
hot food and drinks.
