Police Sport UK Athletics Section - Marathon Championships 2024

We are pleased to announce that this year the PSUK Marathon Championships will take place within the Baxters Loch Ness Marathon on Sunday 29th September 2024. PSUK have been provided with a bespoke entry process so please read this entry form thoroughly and follow the correct process.

Once you have read the marathon details and you wish to enter this must be done following a 2 stage process. .

ENTRY INFORMATION:

To enter you must compete 2 stages! Together

Stage 1. Open the attached PDF link and follow the instructions to enter the Baxters Loch Ness marathon using our bespoke entry process. Click Here for PDF

· Enter using your force as your club name E.G Cheshire Police, Essex Police

· Remember the address you give is where your race number and pack will be sent

· Do not share the bespoke entry link outside of PSUK membership.

· Provide the host with the same email address you provide me/PSUK.

· Any technical problems with the link contact the Loch Ness Marathon host as given on the attached PDF.

Stage 2. Once you have entered the race you then must compete your entry details below and send it to me along with the appropriate entry fee immediately after completing Stage 1.

· The costs are as follows: Race entry £63; PSUK Entry £19; Presentation function £18 [Inc’ food and entertainment]

· Reference your payment as LNM24/your initials and force E.G RGCheshire

· Scan/photo and/or email the form to me and confirm you have transferred the funds.

Due to geographical location it has been requested to hold an evening function similar to the XC and 10 mile, although this will be on a more casual level. The presentation will take place at 1800 hours followed by a 2 course hot buffet being provided. A DJ will then provide music to dance for those who still have the legs to do so. All family/friends are welcome but they will need to pay a guest fee for the function. An open bar will be available kawithin the function room.

The closing date for the PSUK Championships is Tuesday 10th September.

PSUK Marathon – It’s your responsibility to find your own accommodation and book it.

It is important that you read the marathon information link prior to booking accommodation. This is because the bus pick ups are only in certain locations and some Hotels may not be able to reach those pick up locations.

You will be eligible for any open race categories awards in the main event.

The email you send your entry form to me will be the email I use for any further correspondence to you.

If you wish to bring friends and family note there are additional others shorter races/events happening over the weekend. So if you wish to make a longer trip then there is plenty to do both at the race weekend and surrounding area.
